We have generated Structural Steel Shop Drawings for structural framework ranging from simple steel staircases and steel railings to complete structural steel buildings; encompassing 1 steel tonnage to 1000 steel tonnage and more.

The below review is of a steel detailing project of 8 steel tonnage that we executed recently at par with Australian Standards.

Steel platform and Stairs were the structures in concern.

Quotation was provided based on assessment of the General Arrangement and Layout Drawings provided with details and specifications of the beams marked up by the client.

We proceeded with creating the Tekla model of the steel members with further details/dimensions provided by the client in due course.

Queries/clashes pertaining to any connections or missing dimensions that came up while modeling were raised and on subsequent response from the client were resolved in the model.

Next, erections drawings were extracted from the model and sent to the client for their review to further confirm the dimensions and detailing.

On confirmation, the GA drawings, part drawings and the assembly drawings were developed and dispatched for final review.

After which, the final submission that is the ‘Issue for Fabrication’ set was dispatched to the Client. This set also included .nc1 and .dxf files, material list and reports.

The project was executed in a span of 8 working days.
