  • As clash detective tool is optimized for conducting clashes in Navisworks it incorporates each and every feature that is required for determining design errors.
  • When clash detective tool is opened by users they can see a number of tabs on top which are titled as ‘Rules’ ‘Select’ ‘Results’ and ‘Report.’
  • Within each tab relevant information related to the title is given for example within ‘Results tab’ each and every detail pertaining to the identified clashes is provided.
  • On the other hand ‘Select tab’ is used by users when they want to select an element for conducting a clash test. By using select tab users select two different model elements in separate columns between which they check the interference.
  • For example if users want to know whether the plumbing pipe is colliding with a HVAC duct or not, then they have to fill HVAC duct in one column and plumbing pipe in another column with the assistance of Select tab.  Once the columns are filled with these two options users can click ‘Start’ button for running the test.
  • Once the test is completed its results can be seen by the Navisworks users by clicking Results tab wherein the identified clashes are listed.
  • If in case users want to understand the status of the clashes they should click on to ‘Status’ column which resides within the Results tab.
  • Within status column the status of the clashes is shown by leveling them, for example if a clash is resolved then it is leveled as ‘Resolved’ or if a clash is newly identified then it is shown as ‘New’. Similarly is a clash has been reviewed by the users then it is shown as ‘Reviewed.’
