Client Summary
Tesla CAD Solutions carried out this project for a residential and commercial planning and building company in Australia. Being in business for close to two decades, they have designed and built striking and liveable residential dwellings and commercial workplaces.
Scope
The project consisted of creating working drawings for a residential building in Australia. The client had provided us with the initial design drawings along with a set of completed drawings so as to understand the client’s specific presentation standard.
The initial scope of work included:
- Floor plan with all dimensions and annotations
- Elevations all 4 Sides
- Roof Plan
- Section through staircase
- Section through dwelling (x2)
- Floor Finishes Plan
- Window Schedule and detail
- Door Schedule and detail
- Cut / fill plan
- Box Gutter Detail
- Decking Detail
However, while working on the project, the client added the following to our scope of work:
- Site Plan
- One additional section
- Adding details to all sections
- Velux Detail
- Electrical Plan for both floors
Challenges
The site wherein the building was to be constructed was very contoured. Hence, we had to spend a considerable amount of time studying the design (cut and fill for the site as well as materials to be applied).
