Project Objective and Summary
We were required to convert Existing drawings of residential building to renovation/proposed drawings in Revit for an Australian Client.

The following inputs were received:
- Existing marked up plans in PDF format
- Information to be used for drafting standards
- Data/Information to be added to the sheets
The process that was followed:
Converting Existing drawings to renovation/proposed interior detail drawings.
- Step 1: 3D Modelling of the house in Revit.
- Step 2: Creating following Interior drawing sheets
Ground Level
- All kitchen joinery & Island
- New family and meals area joinery Inc. Window seat
- New Living and cellar/Bar joinery
- Cabana
Level 1
- Master Bed/Ensuite/WIR
- All bedrooms Ensuite
- All Bedroom robes
Additional sheets
- New joinery drawings to replace existing drawings for all above areas.
- Five perspective views for preliminary and final drawings
Additionally, for the Cabana, we also created the following interior detail drawing sheets:
- Floor plan
- Interior Elevations – Kitchen, Lounge area and bathroom (1:20)
- Joinery Elevations – Kitchen, Island and bathroom (1:50)
- Joinery Sections – showing depths of drawers, etc. (1:50)
- Handle detail 1:50
Conclusion
The client was pleased with the quality of the deliverables that were delivered within the stipulated timespan.
